Whitchurch Photographic Society | About

Whitchurch Photographic Society was founded in 1962 by photographic enthusiasts wanting to share their knowledge and improve their photography. The same applies today over 50 years later.

We presently have members ranging from beginners to experienced photographers. We have a weekly meeting (monthly in the summer months) starting at 7.30pm on Tuesdays. The weekly events vary from internal competitions, competitions against other clubs, lectures by guest speakers, lectures by club members, and practical photography sessions.

New members and visitors are always greeted with a warm friendly welcome. Whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced, all you need is an interest in photography. As a member you will get the opportunity to meet like minded people who enjoy photography. Our members come from North Shropshire and South Cheshire, not just Whitchurch.

We meet at: "The Senior Citizens Club" Pearl Yard, Whitchurch, SY13 1AQ - see map. Parking is available on the streets nearby. Click to see How to find us.

Our membership subscriptions are £25 per annum and a door fee of £2 for members and £3 for non-members.

The Society is Affiliated to The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Midland Counties Photographic Federation.
