WPS Competition Summary & Rules
Club competitions 2018 / 2019 season
Competition Rules
The Competition Rules have been re-written for the 2018-19 season. Don't panic! They have not changed much, they were just re-worded to make them easier to understand, had some additional information that should be helpful added, plus a couple of changes agreed at the 2017-2018 season AGM. Copies will be available to members without internet access at the first few meetings of the season (first meeting is on 18th September 2018).
For those on the internet and with a printer, please download your own copy and print it out. You can download a copy of the full rules from the "Members Area" of the web site.
Sandy has extracted the summary table of competitions and added the last submission dates which should be very useful to all members entering competitions, which is shown below. The "See rule" column refers to the new rules described above. Copies of this table will also be available at club meetings.

PDI sizing
This is defined in the rules, but if a picture tells a thousand words, here they are graphically.
Either dimension can be less then the specified maximum, so to get the best quality projection you should resize your images to have one dimension the maximum size, and the other equal to or less than maximum size.
If you submit images less than this, the projected quality will decrease. If you submit images larger than this, the DiCentra software will scale them down as the projector cannot exceed these dimensions, and whilst Dicentra does seem to do a good job of this, some distortion or cropping might occur as a result.
