On Tuesday 6th May 25, we had our annual prize giving at Pearl Yard.

The Photographer Of The Year 25 was a really close run contest this year and I kept the results secret until the very last minute.

Incredibly, both Marc Brimble and Ruth Elner finished up with 464 points apiece!

However, after a bit of head scratching and delving, Marc was the winner by a whisker having managed to win more competitions than Ruth over the year, thus relegating her to second place! POTY25

By some fluke, I managed third place, a complete mystery to me as how I did it, but nevertheless grateful!

Next year looks to be an even better competition, with a few more PDIs thrown into the mix and with Sandy Robertson, Judy King (Naden) and Wendy Taylor chasing hard, plus the dark horse in the shape of Paul Sweetnam sneaking up the ranks!
